54 E&MJ; • JUNE 2014 www.e-mj.com A world leader in premier manufacturing, remanufacturing, and repair of mining equipment and field services, L&H; Industrial has expanded its product line to include mineral processing equipment. Over the past four years, L&H; has invested more than $10 million in building the facilities, machinery, and most importantly, the qualified professional personnel to engineer, estimate and coordinate mineral processing repair services through experienced machinists, welders, mechanics and field service technicians. The newly expanded Tempe, AZ., manufacturing and repair center houses the largest machines with the highest capacity for manipulating and precession machining in the western U.S. and offers a convenient repair facility for hard rock mines in Mexico, South America, Nevada and the entire southwest. "With a multimillion dollar investment in its people, technology and machinery, through the addition of our 40,000-sq-ft Tempe shop, we can handle any repair project no matter how big or small," said Garrett Goldman, general manager, L&H; Industrial Tempe. L&H; is aggressively taking repair orders for primary, secondary and tertiary crushers; sag and ball mill sub-components; ring gears; and drive pinions (AGMA-14 +); vibrating screen refurbishment to include new manufacturing, assembly, test run and balancing. "We didn't leave out the muscle!" said Pat Oakes, L&H; Industrial mineral processing product line manager. "We have the latest tech- nology in gear drives/reducers manufacturing and remanufacturing technology to include pre- and post-rebuild test runs, bearing and vibration analyzing." L&H; is one on the few companies with the facilities, crane and equipment capacity to repair the largest of parts. The fact that L&H; has one of the largest stress relief ovens in the area, the ability to fabricate and cut large gearing all in-house and significant CNC capabilities, makes L&H; uniquely qualified for new manufacturing and repair work in the mineral processing market. L&H; is one of only four companies capa- ble of grinding gears up to a 6-m diameter. As well, L&H; can change out screens, replace huck bolts, repair frames as well as general weld and mechanical repairs. For conveyers, repairs include gearboxes, head/tail pulley rebuilds, replacing bearings and general weld and mechanical repairs.
