Sandvik RR221 sizes range from 159 to 311 mm (6- 1∕4 to 12-1∕4 in.) and rock hardness capa- bility from 10 MPa to more than 500 MPa. www.sandvik.com Transportable Fuel Tanks are Stackable and Secure McCloskey International has introduced the Fuel Hub product line—transportable tanks that allow for fast, efficient refueling at scat- tered work sites. Fuel Hubs are available in eight sizes with capacities ranging from 450 L to 10,000 L. The fuel tanks have 110% bunded capacity, ensuring compli- ance with environmental standards and making them PPG compliant. They feature an easily removable inner tank and outer lid for maintenance, cleaning and quick bund area viewing. Fuel Hubs feature primary and secondary manway access for speedy fuel connections. Three letterbox openings for convenience and neat hose and cable entry also offer extra security on site as the tops can be left closed and locked while in use. The primary hatch plate doubles as an access manway and a smaller secondary hatch plate is designed and positioned to fit the user's desired onsite usage require- ments. The outer top lid has a 6° pitch run- ning down its center to shed water or dust. It is fully removable to allow for full access to the bunded area, allowing the inner tank to be completely independent of the outer lid. The Fuel Hub can be lifted when full and features bidirectional forklift pockets, internal baffles and four galvanized lifting hooks positioned to ensure balance. With its galvanized hex corners, the Fuel Hub is also space efficient, and can be stacked two high when full or three high when empty. The Fuel Hub is environment friendly and has certifications across a broad range of industries worldwide. www.mccloskeyinternational.com Linkable Tunnel String Lights for Long-span Illumination Larson Electronics now offers a temporary tunnel string lighting set that is designed for high output illumination and daisy chain connections up to 510 ft from the power source. The WAL-SL-51-PAR38-LED-12.4 light set consists of 51 industrial grade LED lamps with 10 ft of 12/4 SJTW cable between each unit. Each globe light is equipped with a high-output LED lamp, which delivers more light output than 150 watt PAR38 halogen lamps. Each LED light screws into a molded E26 lamp socket and each socket has hook eyelets. Fifty-one high output PAR38 lamps producing 2,500 lumens per lamp provide a total of 127,500 lumens of bright white illumination. Each lamp housing is constructed from light- weight aluminum and fitted with an impact- and shatter-resistant polycarbonate diffuser. The LED lamps each approximately illumi- nate a 10- to 12-ft radius with 20-30 ft candles of light when mounted 10- to 15-ft above the work environment. Multiple stringer sections can be daisy chained together via whips terminated in twist lock connectors, with a maximum of four strings chained together providing up to 2,000 ft of illumination. www.larsonelectronics.com Scheduling Software Has Batch Optimization for Efficiency Minemax has released Minemax Scheduler 6.2, a strategic scheduling tool incorporat- ing integrated optimization of trucking, waste dumps, mineral processing and capi- tal expenditure options that enables users to maximize the Net Present Value of projects and operations. The new release now offers batch optimization, which allows mine plan- ners to optimize a large number of mine schedules in a single automated process. The company noted that running multiple mine schedule optimizations for different scenarios can be very time-consuming, but batch optimization makes this process more efficient—rather than waiting to manually start each scenario when the previous one finishes, users can start the batch optimiza- tion and then move on to other tasks while the batch optimizer runs scenarios in the background. The batch optimizer also dis- plays notifications on the system taskbar. Minemax Scheduler 6.2 also includes fur- ther enhancements such as the definition of a per-period variable discount rate, im- proved pivot table outputs, searching and filtering of lists, selection of multiple source files on import and general bug fixes. www.minemax.com
