Once the TSF has been constructed, sonic rigs can help with the installation of piezometers for additional monitoring. The ability of Sonic Drill Rigs to secure perfect, continuous core samples means that geologists and environmental experts can regularly implement soil and water sampling to make sure the structures are sound and all hazardous materials are be- ing secured properly. The crawler-mounted TSi 150C Sonic Drill Rig can drill up to 1,000 feet depending upon the lithology and casing design.
