Lawson has managed two startup operations, Goldcorp Inc.'s Musselwhite Mine in Ontario and De Beers Canada Ltd.'s Snap Lake Mine in the Northwest Territories. Teck Resources Ltd. appointed Scott Maloney as vice president, environment. Maloney succeeds Michael Da- vies, who has begun a phased retirement. Maloney joins Teck from BHP and brings to the role more than 20 years of functional environmental experience. Great Panther Silver Ltd. appointed Jim Bannantine as president and CEO. Bannantine will succeed Robert Archer, who, in April, announced his intention to step down. Archer is a co-founder of the company and will remain on the board of directors. Most recently, Bannantine was president and CEO of Aura Minerals Inc. Potash Ridge Corp. appointed Ross Phillips as interim CFO to replace Petra Decher, who has left the company. Phillips previously held the position of CFO between 2015 and 2017. Natural Resource Partners L.P. announced that Wyatt L. Hogan, president and COO, has resigned. Craig W. Nunez, CFO and treasurer, will succeed Hogan. Christopher J. Zolas, chief accounting offi cer, will succeed Nunez. Eco Oro Minerals Corp. announced that Paul Robertson, the current CFO, accepted the position of interim CEO, re- placing Anna Stylianides who had been acting in the role of interim CEO. Stylianides will remain in her position as a director of the board. Compass Minerals appointed James "Jamie" Standen to the position of CFO effective immediately. Standen had been serving as interim CFO and treasurer since April 25. Standen joined Compass Minerals in 2006 as assistant treasurer. International law fi rm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced that William "Bill" Prince, a partner in the fi rm's Regulatory Affairs Group and co-chair of its Mining & Natural Resources In- dustry Group, has been elected by the Trustees Council to be the next president-elect of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation (RMMLF). Macquarie Group appointed David Lipschitz as a senior analyst in equities research within its commodities and Global Markets group. He joins from CLSA where since 2009, he led coverage of metals, mining, steel and North American rails. Camfi l appointed Alain Bérard to the position of group executive vice president in charge of the Air Pollution Control (APC) global business unit. For the last four years, Bérard was in charge of Camfi l's global product portfolio, research and development, and communication. Bridgestone Americas named Bridget Neal as president, off-the-road (OTR), Bridgestone Americas Tire Opera- tions. Neal succeeds Taylor Cole. Previously, she was director, OTR tire sales. Robert Franklin has been appointed as interim director of sales and mar- keting, Americas, at Terex Trucks. He joined Terex Corp. in 2002, working fi rstly as a compact equipment salesman and he later moved into the heavy industry division in 2006. Tomas Hakala was appointed pres- ident of the services business unit and member of Outotec's Executive Board. He will commence in his new position on November 13, at the lat- est. Hakala is joining Outotec from Wärtsilä Corp. where he has been heading 4 Stroke Engine Services business. Gustav KildÈn has been appointed senior vice president, strategic customers and business develop- ment, and member of executive board. KildÈn is currently president of market area Europe and North Africa at Outotec. Adel Hattab, executive vice presi- dent, strategic customers and business development, has decided to leave Outotec to join another company. Magna Tyres Group appointed Muktar Barrie as sales manager for the French-speaking countries in West Africa. In his new position, he has taken on the responsibility for growing the Magna Tyres market presence and will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Terex MPS named Gareth Orritt as its New Canica business develop- ment manager. Prior to joining Terex MPS, he held product line and sales management positions with both the Metso (Barmac) and Sandvik VSI product ranges. Atlas Copco announced that Per Lindberg has been appointed pres- ident and CEO of Epiroc. Lindberg is currently the president and CEO of BillerudKorsnäs AB. Helena Hedblom was appointed senior ex- ecutive vice president mining and infrastructure of Epiroc. Hedblom is currently senior executive vice president of Atlas Copco's Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area. Anders Lindén has been appointed senior vice presi- dent controlling and fi nance. He is currently vice president of business control for Atlas Copco's Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area. Mat- tias Olsson has been appointed senior vice president of corporate communications. Olsson is a former Atlas Copco employee and has been working with marketing of mining equipment, controlling and as vice president of investor relations.
