SpotSee Opens Office in Chihuahua, Mexico SpotSee, supplier of shock and vibra- tion monitoring solutions, opened a new facility in Chihuahua, Mexico, to better reach its customers, more easi- ly manufacture products in-house and continue its global expansion, the com- pany reported. Previously, SpotSee used third-party firms to produce products in other parts of the world, such as China and Europe, but the new facility will al- low the company to manufacture them in-house, SpotSee reported. The prima- ry operations housed there will be elec- tronic and mechanical assembly, injec- tion molding, machining, foam press cutting and die casting. TERRATEC Opens Office in Lima TERRATEC opened an office in Lima, Peru, dedicated to the Central and South American raise-boring machine space. The new office will focus on sales of new machines, as well as the ongoing ser- vicing and maintenance of existing units in the region. The office, located near both down- town Lima and Jorge Chávez International Airport, will be overseen by the regional director of operations. TERRATEC's engi- neering and field service team can assist buyers from the planning stage and pro- vides lifetime servicing and maintenance support, the company reported. GHH Opens Training Center GHH Fahrzeuge GmbH inaugurated a training center near Udaipur, India, in April. The site also houses a supply and spare parts warehouse for the surround- ing mines under Hindustan Zinc Ltd. (HZL). The center offers training to em- ployees, mine operators and customers. The current primary user is Mochia mine, a HZL customer. Students, after passing a final exam, attain a GHH Mining Acade- my diploma. HZL headquarters are locat- ed in Udaipur.
