Hinze will be succeeded by Warwick Morley-Jepson, currently regional vice-president of the Russian region since 2009. Prior to joining Kinross, Morley-Jepson held executive posi- tions at Barrick and Placer Dome. Rio Tinto Group 's head of mergers and acquisitions Philip Mitchell has left the company. Mitchell had been the head of business development for the past six years. He was replaced on an acting basis by Matt Halliday, Rio's director of business development for Australia. Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd . announced that Thomas C. Collier, a U.S. regulatory lawyer and former chief of staff in the U.S. Department of Interior, has been named CEO of the Pebble Limited Partnership, replacing John Shively. Collier has served as senior external counsel to Northern Dynasty since 2011. Royal Nickel Corp . announced that Tyler Mitchelson, president and CEO, has decided to leave RNC to take a position with Anglo American Corp. Mitchelson will remain as a director of RNC. Mark Selby, senior vice president of business development since 2010, has been appointed interim CEO. Dan MacInnis has joined Balmoral Resources Ltd. 's board of directors. He recently retired as the president and CEO of MAG Silver Corp. UC RUSAL has made the following changes: Sergei Belsky has been appointed COO for sales and Roman Andryushin has been appointed director of Russia and CIS sales. Carlisle Goldfields Ltd . appointed Abraham Drost as the new president and CEO with Bruce Reid transition- ing to executive chairman. Drost is a registered professional geoscientist (Ontario) with more than 25 years of experience with a number of public issuers in the Canadian mining industry. Newcrest Mining Ltd . appointed Francesca Lee as gen- eral counsel and company secretary. She was general counsel and company secretary with OZ Minerals Ltd. Bauxite Resources Ltd . announced that Qingwei Zhan, the representative from the company's shareholder Yankuang Group Corp., has appointed Fengyong Sun as his alternate director. Sun has been working in different areas of coal mining, electricity generation and electrolytic aluminum inside Yankuang Group Ltd. for more than 17 years. Alpha Natural Resources' subsidiary Alpha Coal Sales International Ltd. will open a London office. Nick Ingham, vice president of international hedging, sales and marketing, will head that office. Super Nova Minerals Corp . announced that David B. Jackson will act as CEO and as a director of the com- pany. Wolf Wiese has resigned as CEO, but will retain his positions as president and director. Canarc Resource Corp . announced the retirement of James Moors, vice president of exploration. Moors joined the com- pany in 1993 as project geologist for the New Polaris Property and has been managing the exploration activities. Revolver Resources Inc . appointed Michel Boily as pres- ident and CEO. Robert Birmingham has resigned as president and CEO and will remain as a director of the company. Claude Resources Inc . announced the retirement of long- time president and CEO, Neil McMillan, effective March 31. He was with the company for 18 years. McMillan will con- tinue to serve as Cameco Corp.'s chair of its board of direc- tors and as a member of Shore Gold Inc.'s board of directors. The Board of Directors and the Government and Public Affairs Committee of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Inc . (SME) announced the recipient of the first SME Congressional Fellowship. Joshua Hoffman, Ph.D., of Lexington, Kentuky, USA, will spend one year in Washington, D.C., working as a mining resource adviser on the staff of a member of Congress or congressional committee. Dr. Hoffman is a professional engineer and has been a member of SME for 10 years. Orbite Aluminae Inc . named Glenn Kelly, previously executive vice-president and COO, president and CEO. Richard Boudreault is stepping down from the position of president and CEO and has resigned as director. Randgold Resources announced that Philippe Liétard, the chairman of the board for 10 years and a non-exec- utive director since 1998, will step down from the board. Liétard will be succeeded by Christopher Coleman who has been an independent non-exec- utive director of Randgold since 2008. Coleman is head of banking and asset finance at Rothschild and sits on the board of Papa Johns International Inc. Donaldson Company announced a number of officer changes effective April 1. Charles J. McMurray, senior vice president and chief administrative officer, retires after 33 years. McMurray joined Donaldson in 1980 and has held key management roles in the U.S. and Europe and with the company's joint venture with Caterpillar. Tod E. Carpenter was appointed to the board of directors and promoted to COO from his current role as senior vice president, engine products. Thomas R. Scalf was promoted to senior vice president, engine products, from his current role as vice presi- dent of global industrial air filtration. Jeffrey E. Spethmann was appointed vice president, global industrial air filtration. Spethmann is currently the vice president of the Exhaust and Emissions business unit. Diana Drinkwater, JKTech metallurgical training manager, was appointed as the first female chair of the Education Commission for the International Mineral Processing Council. In her role, she will lead a global review of miner- al processing curricula around the world and an evaluation of how well it matches current industry needs. MWH Global hired Richard Dixon as the country man- ager for its office and operations in Chile. Dixon has 23 years of experience working for well-known internation- al engineering and chemical companies. BEUMER Group appointed Dr. Detlev Rose as chief sales officer. Before joining BEUMER Group, he was CEO at ThyssenKrupp Polysius AG. FLSmidth has appointed Eric Thomas Poupier to a newly created position in group executive management as group executive vice president, business development. Major Drilling Group International Inc . promoted Denis Despres to the new position of COO and Larry Pisto to vice president, North American Operations, where he will succeed Despres. Global Pump appointed Victor Krotikov as its European Union/Commonwealth of Independent States (EU/CIS) business development manager. Fenner Dunlop appointed Wayne Van Vogelpoel as key account manager, Asia Pacific. Van Vogelpoel was a for- mer director of Australian Conveyor Engineering, which was acquired by Fenner Global Group in November 2012. CSA Global named a new non-executive chairman, Peter Rossdeutscher. He is the managing director of IntierraRMG and pre- viously was chief executive of Micromine.
