machine walkaround, systems testing, driv- ing, hauling, braking, two loading methods, unloading, full production cycle and a spe- cial open training mode that allows users to practice any technique or application learned in other exercises. Exclusive to Cat Simulators is SimU Campus, the software that records and reports the results of all simulation ses- sions so instructors and users can track progress. Hundreds of benchmarks based on Caterpillar expert operators are included in the system, with the operator's perform- ance measured against these benchmarks and outcomes recorded and reported. Special bonus features on the off-highway truck system include companion iPad training, multiple languages and available motion platform. www.catsimulators.com Innovative Replacement Idler for Restricted-access Conveyors ASGCO's One-Sided Slide-lers provide the ability to change idler rolls under a convey- or loading skirt area without having to remove adjacent belt idlers. The unit is a modularly designed product that allows workers to remove the wing and center roll hangers for easy replacement of idler rolls. The One-Sided Slide-ler minimizes down- time; for environments with extreme access limitations, the One-Sided Slide-ler can be maintained from just one side of the conveyor system—ideal for systems with limited access, such as when a con- veyor is located against a wall or elevated with a catwalk on only one side. www.asgco.com Chipper Hammers Made for Heavy-metal Jobs Chicago Pneumatic has a new range of industrial chipping hammers—the CP9362/CP9263 and CP9373 series— designed for industrial applications. The CP9362/63 series come with either an open or gooseneck handle, which allow users to work with precision and comfort in tight areas. This range consists of 10 mod- els covering 1- to 4-in. strokes, weighing from 3.4 lb (1.5 kg) to 8.4 lb (3.8 kg). The CP9373 series has a D-handle and four- bolt construction, which allows workers to maintain a sure grip on the tool in demand- ing applications. This range consists of six models covering 1- to 4-in. strokes, and from 8.2 lb (3.7 kg) to 9.15 lb (4.1 kg) tool weight. Both series designs share a thick steel safety lever that provides extra assurance when working on tough jobs, along with an easily replaceable retainer ring, options for round or hex shank chis- els, and an ergonomically shaped handle. www.cp.com MARCH 2016 • E&MJ; 77 www.e-mj.com E Q U I P M E N T G A L L E R Y Handling a World of Materials Phone: +1 (610) 544-7200 E-mail: info@terrasource.com Eliminate fugitive dust to improve plant safety with Posimetric ® Feeders Dust-free processing of coal, limestone, biomass, crushed stone, sand, wood chips and more.
