MAY 2018 • E&MJ; 61 www.e-mj.com EQUIPMENT GALLERY the conveyor belt. It uses the same patented E-Z Torque ten- sioner as the rest of the Skalper line, featuring a stainless-steel spring, allowing the blades to self-adjust, making it the most ro- bust and accurate belt cleaner tensioner in the industry, ASGCO reported. The tensioner and mounting tube are zinc-plated for corrosion resistance and the blades can be quickly changed from one side of the conveyor belt. Pit-Skalper can be installed on any belt with maximum blade speeds of 600 ft/m (3 m per second) and a pulley diameter of 10 in. to 20 in. www.asgco.com Mine Scheduling Optimization Software Upgrade Maptek announced Evolution 5, an upgrade to the company's mine scheduling optimization software, which features an up- dated interface for scheduling with attributed solids. The up- grade enables short or medium-term scheduling with block mod- els or solids, and seamless handling of stratigraphic reserves, the company reported. Maptek reported Evolution 5 features capabilities enabling: enhanced road network tools, assignment of dependencies to solids; more control over processes and the accumulation of parcels; better validation of user data before submitting a scheduling job; user defi nition of residual capital categories that would apply towards the end of mine life when stockpiles are being depleted, reporting and graphing of any data related to the schedule. When targeting multiple objectives, Evolution does not return a single schedule but rather a set of optimized trade-off sched- ules, the company reported. www.maptek.com Customizable Dust Collectors Camfi l APC announced its Farr Gold Series industrial dust col- lectors, which are designed to remove dust while occupying minimal space. Farr Gold Series collectors are built from 3-ft- 6-in. square modules that can be confi gured for the exact work envi- ronment. Each module accommodates airfl ows up to 5,000 ft 3 per min- ute (ft 3 /m) using four pleated-fi lter cartridges mounted in a symmetri- cal frame. The modular design enables customized Farr Gold Series dust collec- tors to be specifi ed, built and shipped quickly, the company reported. Cus- tomizable options in- clude explosion protec- tion systems, bag-in/bag- out containment sys- tems, and self-dumping hoppers. They can be built to meet airfl ow re- quirements of 100,000 ft 3 /m and beyond. www.camfi lapc.com Wilsonville, Oregon USA Tel +1 (503) 682-1001 info@rockmore-intl.com Judenburg, Austria Tel +43 3572-86300 austria@rockmore-intl.com Drill More Mining Construction Quarrying Tunneling Water-well with RockMore R o c k M o r e I n t e r n a t i o n a l Rock Drilling Tools ® ® Bits Rods Couplings Shanks DTH Come see us at ELKO Stand #57
