106 E&MJ • JUNE 2018 www.e-mj.com EQUIPMENT GALLERY Mine Rescue Facemask for Clear Comms Biomarine Inc. announced its 4-hour closed-circuit self-contained breathing ap- paratus, the BioPak 240 Revolution, is ap- proved by National Institute of Occupation- al Safety and Health and Mine Safety and Health Administration, and is capable of integration with Innovative Wireless Tech- nologies (IWT) SENTINEL Mine Rescue Communications System. The facemask leverages Biomarine's AVIWT communica- tion systems interface, enabling mine res- cue team members to communicate with each other and command centers, the com- pany reported. The facemask's microphone is situated close to the user's mouth, which improves sound quality. Jennmar is the dis- tributor of the BioPak 240R. www.biopak240r.com Portable Turbine Oil Filtration Systems Filtration Group Corp.'s Hydraulics Group announced the addition to the KLP Se- ries of 3 and 5 GPM portable models, TURBO-TOC Turbine Oil Conditioning Systems for portable fi ltration systems. The new models were designed as a cost-effective solution for when a higher capacity system would be excessive, the company reported. The KLP TURBO-TOC turbine oil con- ditioning system's portability provides as-needed oil conditioning for a selected oil reservoir during equipment uptime. During shutdown it prepares the turbine oil for equipment startup. Water removed from the oil accumulates in the coalescer vessel. When it reaches a preset level, the automatic water drain discharges the wa- ter from the system. The KLP Series may be installed on a single reservoir or moved between multi- ple-turbine oil reservoirs. The series meets ISO Cleanliness Code 15/13/11. All models in the series come with a standard prefi lter for ultra-fi ne particle removal. A heater can be added to the system to reduce the time needed to raise oil temperatures on startup. www.kaydonfi ltration.com New Versions of Mine Management Software MICROMINE announced it will launch new versions of Geobank and Micromine in March and April, respectively. Both were developed based on client feedback, the company reported.
